Bucs position changes

Post by parkin0721 on Tue Feb 06, 2018 7:24 pm

Looking to switch from a 4 3 to a 3 4. Quite a few position changes to do.

G mccoy from DT to 'RE (3/4)
G Hagerman from DT to LE (3/4)
N Spence from RE to ROLB
L David from ROLB to MOB
K Minter from MLB to ROLB

Cheers

Hey Andy, this seems to have got lost in the forum and not chased up. Looking at your depth chart and game film it looks like you have gone ahead with this without confirmation.

I could approve all of these myself, though Spence is right on the limit with his coverage ability to play LB and is probably much much better suited as a 4-3DE. Minter equally is a 4-3LB or MLB in 3-4 as he possesses little to no pass rush.

Your DT Christian Douglas though is too light to play Nose Tackle, so you need to find someone else to backup Baker. Robert Ayers Jr again isn't really a suitable 3-4DE or 3-4OLB with his stats

You should also have really need the approval of @Warrior9674, @Bishbosh1985, @brza37, @LTown27ers and @MeisterEder69 before carrying on with this.

Like Lars said, accompanying your post with Daddyleagues links is also much more helpful

Andy you might be better off sticking to 43 D until time off season if its not a big deal to you.
If you post the links I will review though.

Yeah. I don't know if any teams would change to a 3-4 halfway through a successful season..

If you are changing from a 4-3 to 3-4 or vice versa you need to post your entire front 7 including backups with their positions in the new scheme. This was outline in the following post:
http://sml-europe.forumotion.com/t1663-season-24-base-defense-and-front-7-declaration

@brza37 wrote:Teams that use a 4-3 or 3-4 defense should have their players in the correct positions utilizing the usual position change requests. If you have switched your base D from the teams' original scheme then you MUST also request position changes. For example, you cannot just change from a 4-3 D to 3-4 and keep all the players at the same positions. The new positions must be approved first.
