Speed threshold

Hey,
Quite likely you had this discussion before, but I couldn't find it here, so I thought I will bring it up.

I found out in my solo cfm that raising the speed threshold to 80+ makes it much more fun as it is not so easy to use speed as an advantage. We all know that speed is huge in Madden, so I kind of like that it's a bit less important.
At 80 for example you still see the faster players, but not in the same way as <50.

What do you think about it? Could it be an alternative?

We did discuss speed threshold before. There were pros and cons on both sides of the discussion but in the end we felt it might just be too drastic of a move during the franchise to go anywhere outside of 40-60 range.
I don't want speed to be the only thing that matters either but on the other hand it is already pretty common for faster QBs or RBs to get chased down by much slower D-linemen around the line of scrimmage which can be pretty frustrating. On the current settings I feel like you don't see a difference until a player is really in the open field on the second level of the D.

Maybe its something we could try out in preseason if others would like to see a change though.
