It's going to be a record year for interceptions, corners dropping nothing.

M18 Power Rankings - Page 2 Empty Re: M18 Power Rankings

Post by Mattanite Fri Sep 22, 2017 4:24 pm

After many mishaps with the data the Season 23 Week 1 power rankings are in:

Biggest Winners:
Solid Preseason showings from rookies [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] and [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] have them shooting up the rankings. A perfect preseason from [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] has him sitting at no3 with the Patriot powerhouse [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] shooting up to no4. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] jumps up 10 to no5 and plenty other rookie movement by [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.], [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.], [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] and [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

Biggest Losers:
A perfect preseason by 49ers coach [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] has him drop 24 spots to no29. A mixed preseason for veterans [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.], [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.], [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.], [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] and [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] have them dropping in the teens to make room for the hot new rookie talent.

Conferences:
In the conference rankings, the AFC North gets knocked off the top spot by the fleeing of [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] to the Lions. The NFC East drops due to the Redskins coach going missing. AFC West jumps up to No1 due to strong preseason showings by [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.], [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.], [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] and [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]. NFC North drops 3 spots due to new talent coming in and mixed preseasons from the division vets. NFC South jumps up 2 to No3 thanks to an all around strong preseason.

Changes all over the board as it's based off 4 games with simmed games included. The numbers will refine once we get more meaningful action underway.

M18 Power Rankings - Page 2 Empty Re: M18 Power Rankings

Season 23 - Week 5 Power Rank Report
Biggest Winners

The biggest shake up is due to [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] perfect run so far in M18 jumping up to 2nd place. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]'s jedi mind tricks no longer work as he takes the No3 spot! The perfect run by [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] jumps the Jaguars to 10th. Some regular season comebacks after a slow preseason have [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.], [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.], [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] and [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] climbing up the boards. Some solid play by [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] has the Giants zooming ahead to No14 and we might see it continue. Congratulations to [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] who without playing a single game takes No11 and to some savvy team development [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] jumps the bulls to No16 (he signed an actual strong safety). [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] has the Bucs going in the right direction as he jumps to No21. The addition of the Rams new Coach [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] boost them up above the pile of 0-4 teams. And congrats to the badass CPU of the Redskins keeping them relevant for any prospective new owner.

Rock Solid

No movement from the No1 spot as [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] refuses to move. Solid starts from [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.], [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] and [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] see no movement and only a couple of drops from [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] and [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] and [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] only tumble slightly to the bottom and can easily pick themselves up with a couple of wins and some elite team building.

Biggest Losers

A startling fact for S23 Week 5 is the number of perfect records there are at the bottom of the table, 6 different teams opening the season 0-4, bad luck to [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.], @LukeBrittain, [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.], [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.], [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] and [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.].  All the solid play from the vets in the middle of the league drop the talented preseason rookies down as [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.], [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.], [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] and [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] tumble slightly. The biggest drop goes to [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] who drops from No2 to No4 due to some impressive 4-0 starts in the league and his own conference.

Conference Battle

A slight shake up in the conferences as the AFC West plummets from 1st to 5th mainly due to the regular season heroics of the AFC East and NFC East pushing them out of the way. The strength of the 3 coaches in the NFC East carry the Redskins CPU up to reclaim No1!! The AFC North sits firm at No2 as does the NFC West at No8 but the addition of new coaches’ means they could be the hot new conference around. Watch this space. The NFC North and AFC South sit solid on last updates positions of No6 and No7 respectively and the NFC South drops one spot to make for the new challengers.

Season 23 - Week 9  Power Rank Report
Biggest Winners

The top has some new arrivals with [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] and [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] still yet to be defeated and riding the high into the second half of the season at positions 3 and 5. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] went into full on HULK mode after being displaced last round and retakes his No2 spot. The stock market rises for the Redskins as @CougerDesMoines takes over the CPU to No20. Some decent wins and recoveries on the season see a gradual rise for [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.], [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.], [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] (the Patriot Killer) and [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]. Some rookie coach of the year candidates ahoy in [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] and @LukeBrittain as they rise by 11 and 13 to no16 and 17 respectively. Congratualtions to [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] who’s turned a rebuild team into a playoff contender, up 10 to No22. Playoff hopefuls [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] and [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] rise to No7 and No8.

Rock Solid

All hail [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.], unshakeable at the top, his decent record, great team OVR and Superbowl history protects him, but for how long? The gap is closing… [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] keeps up his good form with a drop from 3 to 4. Some decent play out of [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] sees him rise 1 to 13 and despite notching a loss and a panic trade for a new rookie QB [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] rises 1 to No9. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] carries on the slow and steady ascension of the Rams up 1 to No21. I’ll give the Jets and [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] a “Rock Solid” grade this month as he tumbles 3 to No27 but solid performances from the rookies Kyle “Bucky-Buddy” Sloter and the Unicorn TE keep them in a lot of games.

Biggest Losers

Some solid recoveries on the season means there are only 2 perfect seasons left at the bottom. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] and [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] drop to 32 and 30 respectively each seeking a win but a record setting red sun storm didn’t help BDG. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.], @Timbo and [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] come back down to earth with a tumble to the bottom of the board. In the middle of the pack [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.], [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.], [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] and [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] take a short fall of a few spots with a rough month in the SML but bounce backs are all possible. A rough and tough few games see [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] tumble due to a plethora of injuries to No24 and [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] to No25 eyeing the next draft, is this the start of a rebuild? At the top [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] takes a fall from 2 to 6, part in the fact he finally got that first L against him (followed by another), but partly to make room (with [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] falling 1) for [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] and the brilliant @Hierro who owns the only perfect record. The now rudderless Dolphins falls as @turner82 takes time out and expect a further fall when the CPU takes over next report.

Conference Battle

Not that much movement in the conference battles. The NFC East retain the No1 spot, the AFC North retain the No2 spot but now share it with the NFC South. The NFC west does just enough to knock the struggling AFC east from No3 to No5 and the AFC South drops one to last place. Congrats to the NFC West for getting their house in order and moving up to No7.

Season 23 - Week 13 Power Rank Report
Biggest Winners
Some key wins keeps [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.], [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] and [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] climbing up 4 spots in the middle of the rankings. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] keeps the Packers respectable with a climb from 28th to 24th. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] and [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] claw their way from the bottom of the rankings up to 25th and 28th respectively. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] works out how to win without Shady and bounces back from a losing streak up 4 to 15th. Steady rising like a good fresh bread for [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.], [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] and [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] all up 2 spots.
Rock Solid
Congratulations to [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] for keeping up in the NFC East! [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] also keeping the ship on course in the ever-increasing competitive NFC West. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] and [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] are staying steady at the bottom of the rankings but the draft looks juicy. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.], [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.], [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] and [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] staying rock steady at the top and look firmly placed for a playoff run. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.], [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] and [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] look to be gaining traction heading into the final stretch.[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] drops from 4th to 5th only to make room for the surging talent at the top.
Biggest Losers
A Trubisky sized curse on the Jags has [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] dropping 8 spots to 17th , despite the current MVPs success, the team is not rallying. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] keeps up the trend and downward spiral and drops 5 spots to 32nd but it’s all part of the draft strategy. @thebenproctor is having an introduction to the league and battling injuries dropping 4 to 19th and [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] is likewise. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.], [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.], [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] and [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] are all experiencing a slight midseason slump all tumbling a couple of spots in the rankings but some solid outings will see them back up again.
Conference Battle
Not much to say here, most divisions staying steady but with a surge in the AFC South the NFC North had to make way swapping the 6th and 8th spots. The NFC south is no longer on par with the AFC North and defaults to 3rd. No-one can dispute the NFC East is where the power is!!
Playoff Picture
The Browns have already claimed the 1st bye in the AFC so congratulations to them!!!! The Patriots look poised to claim the second if they can hold off the final battle from the Chiefs, Broncos and Jaguars who all look solid to take their divisions. The Steelers, Bills, Chiefs and Broncos are all in the final race for the WildCard spots but the Bengals pretty much have the other one locked up.
The 49ers are holding back the Cardinals for the division title. The Cowboys look to have a bye in reach, with the Falcons not close behind. The Vikings are used to being on top but might miss that vital bye if the Falcons can hold out. The Panthers are roaring as they look to take a wildcard spot but the ultra competitive NFC East has 3 potential wildcard teams with the Eagles, Redskins and Giants all looking tough in the final stretch.

Sorry for the delay on Season 24 rankings, was on site last week. When DL is updated with Preseason week 4 and current Team OVR I'll post the new rankings.

UPDATE: its actually just DL not showing the results of most of preseason week4, will update tonight.

I want my perfect start to be reflected! I started every season here 0-2, so a win in week 1 is like a playoff win for me. I'm more or less super bowl bound with that start bounce bounce bounce  *Lol*
