Re: Scoop's Weekly Roundup Season 4
My heart did fail as I the texans defender swatted the ball down only to see it bounce off several guys ending up in Andre Roberts hands ending a day where the texans d would have kept the cardinals under 200 yards and it would have saved yet another ps3 controller....

Re: Scoop's Weekly Roundup Season 4
WEEK 17 - FAINT HEARTED NEED NOT APPLY!!!
In the 4 corners of the SML Universe we have specifically categorised groups. Firstly, the bye
locked, rest the starters, sit back and relax whilst the others tear themselves apart group. Secondly is the already in the playoffs but jostling for seeds group. Thirdly is the 'heart attack' group with the teams fighting to get in. And finally, the final group ..... the group of the living dead - all waiting for some young tasty morsels of fresh meat from the draft to bolster their ailing rosters.
Group 1: Chiefs, Buccs, Vikes and Titans (Minn and Tenn need 1 win to confirm bye)
Group 2: Ravens, Colts, Cardinals.
Group 3: Patriots, Bills, Texans, Chargers, Cowboys, Eagles, Bears, Lions, Panthers.
Group 4: Steelers, Raiders, Giants.
Note: The Saints owner joined halfway through the season and couldn't quite make up the ground to get into the playoffs.
So, for those of you who are sober and have a keen eye, the nine Group 3 teams are the ones who will be cranking it up and as is the nature of football - providing the tears of joy and heartache.
Looking over the games, there are some real heavyweight battles:
Bills/Panthers - this is a crazy one, both teams could qualify or fail even if they win or lose - dependant on other results.
Bears/Buccs - Buccs are No1 seed. The Bears need a win to guarantee No5 seed, a loss and they will likely go out depending on whether the Madden tie-break formula is calculated by experts or orang-utans.
Eagles/Giants - The Eagles should win this one but tie-breaks will come into play - maybe a few banana bribes for those orange monkeys?
Chiefs/Colts - Chiefs are No1 seed and unless the Titans go mad and lose twice the Colts will be No3 seed.
Pats must beat the Falcons .... and should do v cpu, but probably need Buffalo to lose.
Lions will beat the cpu pack but if the Bears win its irrelevant.
Cowboys should wrap up their division by beating cpu Skins.
Chargers to beat cpu broncos and get a place in the Wildcard Tie-break Weirdness!
Ravens will beat Browns and wrap up No3.
Texans to beat cpu Jags and also enter WC Weirdness!
And now .......... the moment of truth ............ Madden12 tie-break rules:-
The QB's girlfriends' bra size x number of wins minus Superbowl wins subtracted from E=MC2.
There, sorted.
Be back soon with the playoff predictions.
