Unsportsmanlike Conduct - REMINDER Empty Unsportsmanlike Conduct - REMINDER

All

There have been some instances during season 1 of M18 where some coaches have been less than sportsmanlike during games - and in particular, when games are won. A few examples:-

Continuing to pass when a game is won.
Lack of back-ups in a blowout. (Stat padding)
Blowing out guys new to the league.

I will individually PM some HC's regarding the above but as a reminder to all (and everyone needs to take heed as we do not want any bans being handed out on the eve of the playoffs) please, be respectful (especially to new coaches), put your back-ups in and do not flagrantly chase awards/xp.

We know some things look much worse on paper than they were in the actual games - but that is why we need to amend bad play, because that can often be all the admins have to go on.

Many thanks.

ALL

Please take heed regarding rules when playing your games. We are seeing some things that will not be tolerated if continued - so everyone needs to be aware of how to avoid landing a warning/ban.

1) NO stat padding (or anything that 'appears' as stat padding).

2) Get your back-ups on when winning big.

I have already seen several instances of unsim play and we need to stop it now.

Appreciate your co-operation gents.

All

A Coach has today received a 1 game ban for running up the score and exceeding the 35 point win margin.

Anyone who does not abide by league rules (especially, see above) run the risk of being banned too as we apply zero tolerance to these types of rule infractions.

This league is particularly competitive and a ban can mean a big difference come post season - please endeavour to play sim and stick to the rules.

We have posted about this multiple times this season and given enough fair warnings. There is no reason these violations should continue.
We have had to suspend 3 people the past 3 weeks despite multiple public warnings posted on the forum and discussed on chat. We all agreed to play by the rules when you signed up here. Following the rules set out for everyone bolis down to a matter of respect for your fellow league mates. Mistakes can happen occassionally, but this is happening too often and as posted before a final warning was given and now everyone has to expect an immediate suspension if they are in violation.
Please make sure you are all familiar with the rules.
