One of our players yesterday mentioned that they are having difficulties adjusting playbook to the type of players they have so I wanted to ask about scheme and player personnel that would work for the schemes described below. @kook as always your input is always appreciated. @brza37 is there anyway to make these global?

OFFENCE

Spread:

Vertical:

West Coast:

DEFENSE:

4-3

Tampa 2

3-4

I personally am new to this type of analysis myself so if I missed something please guys be free to add!

Scheme and player personnel Empty Re: Scheme and player personnel

Apart from player's obvious traits like a big WR who can jump (and will win more jump balls) I don't think schemes have ever been very effective in Madden. Players who have most success kind of make up their own scheme - but, and this is most important, dependant on who you play. As well as this, there is also the point about understanding how the game works as it changes every year.

Defensively, your players make your mind up for the base D. But it's the plays you call and how you execute them that matter most IMO.

This is why some guys always cause you problems every time you play - and others not so much. Purely because you play the same way over and over and, at least in M17, seems to me that if you don't vary your tendencies you become easier to stop.
