As the draft did not really work out as I hoped, I want to move Darius Leonard from LOLB to MLB.

Sorry in my opinion you can play him at MLB but his position shouldn't be edited because of the re-roll.
LVE was allowed because Von Miller was acquired at the same position to avoid scheme stacking.

I thought there's a new rule this year that there needs to be a starter at every position. So that would mean I stack multiple OLB, but play 1 at MLB.

If that's only for "train-worthy" younger guys, I don't mind keeping him there and play him at MLB.

Here's the rule addition under G9:
"Superstar and X-Factor players cannot have their positions edited unless they are a front 7 player (DE, DT, OLB, MLB) and you are changing from a 4-3 to 3-4 or vice versa. A change from 4-3 to 3-4 is only allowed once per coach, per season. These changes must also be posted and approved before editing. Any non-approved changes to Superstar or X-Factor players will result in an immediate 4 game ban for that player. "

Scheme stacking is also not allowed but ability re-rolling is worse if its not necessary due to scheme.
