Like XFN but not XFN.
http://maddendaddy.com/
Just thought id share this with everyone. After searching for XFN it seems to have completely gone however this guy has popped up in his space. he seems to have everything similar to XFN did with stats contracts etc you can also advance the league on it. from what ive seen you can't actually see how it all works unless you register a league but it all sounds rather good specially with EA's lack on content on their own site.
Ive actually found a website with another league on it so you can look at what the site provides.

Haha i try to Bish!
also looking closely at the 49ers on the above league not all the stats seem to be working...however .. http://maddendaddy.com/TSLFantasy/player/14192/attributes .. is a fantasy league and as you can see DeMarcus Ware's stats are all there - just wish he was a 9er in our league aswell

The EA site is fully operational I think now, when I looked the other day it was. It is good but just not that user friendly.

Re: Like XFN but not XFN.
Nice find past.
I'll take a look at it but one thing is that any external site is still dependant on the ea one. Meaning that if there's any info that the ea site doesn't have the site can't produce it either. Since ea doesn't allow us to view rosters from other teams this site can only show players from user controlled teams that sign up for the site. They also don't have completions because for whatever reason ea thought that stat isn't important enough to put on the website.
Anyway it still looks like an improvement and I'll look into it.

great! yeh i think its worth looking into. With regard to not being able to see CPU rosters - one of the main reason i used the site for was to do with trades with other players, so i was able to log onto XFN check stats of the players i wanted to trade for without turning my PS3 on. Trades with CPU teams are usually a no go anyway - so it shouldn't prove too much of a problem. And hopefully as time goes by the whole site will improve!

Re: Like XFN but not XFN.
Yeah, Notorious is right. Look on the right of the EA site. The tabs League, Teams and Players are now clickable. Under League you get the Standings and under Players are individual stats. Although, the stats can only be viewed one position at a time. Once again a horrible design decision by EA. For example, to see the sacks leader you have to look at LDE, then RDE, then ROLB, then MLB, then LOLB and you can't view them all at once. Just dumb. Also some stats have got to be wrong. I can't imagine Terrell Brown has 120 tackles already or that Colt McCoy has 2700 yards passing and 220 yards rushing already.Notorious_MH wrote:The EA site is fully operational I think now, when I looked the other day it was. I applied for a league at MaddenDaddy anyway so we can keep our options open either way.

Re: Like XFN but not XFN.
Well maddendaddy is free for now but I'm sure the developer would be happy about donations. I'm gonna hold off on donations first though. I donated to league manager last year at that was kind of a waste.
Re: Like XFN but not XFN.
I cam here to chime,
let me update you guys,
Owners credentials are only needed to get stats for that team.
- The commish is still able to get all team rosters with their attributes.
The game recap has the player stats, but is not sortabled because its bogus on the CCM website
-
On the thread I keep the members updated of the new features I released.

Re: Like XFN but not XFN.
MaddenDaddy seems to have quickly surpassed what LM was last year and is nearing XFN's level of functionality in a short amount of time. So, I feel its my duty to help plug some support for the developer and all he's done by reposting this info:

HELP MADDENDADDY to SURVIVE
Ok we all loved XFN, we love maddendaddy more because papi saved our admin and hardcore leaguers asses.
The platform is still under developement so we still don't know when we will be asked for a small yearly subscription fee (which i consider something absolutely honest and necessary). Anyway the hosting is not free, not really and i'd say it's rather expensive.
For this reason please take in consideration for the moment these two options to HELP maddendaddy to survive:
- DONATE and ask to your league member to donate
- CLICK on the ADVERTISEMENT Banners at least one time each day and ask to your member to do the same. Put a thread on your league forum, send them a pvt message, everything is helpful.
Best REGARDS GUYS and HAVE FUN!
