Player//HC/Team awards

Hello 

I was clicking around the forum and ended up in an awards area (Link https://sml-europe.forumotion.com/f19-awards-voting) and then I saw it was from earlier seasons of SML! 

I think its pretty cool overall. I was wondering if this is something the commissioners would ever re-introduce? I think you could have some stat based awards and then also some "community voted" awards (could like a 5 commissioner picks and the community votes in poll over 2 days or so) 

Also if its too adminy and takes too long for commissioners to do I'd recommend one of the experienced players in the league who could support the league in these awards? 

Would love to hear the thoughts of the league and the commissioner on this!

I'd love to do this every year but unfortunately I don't have the time at the moment to put it all together. If you or someone else would like to put together a list of nominees with stats that would really help though. If someone provides a list I can post a poll.

I'd probably declare my own knowledge may not be strong enough to do this on my own. I wonder if there's anyone else thats interested? I'd be happy to help just too scared to do it solo haha

In my opinion it doesn't require an experienced player - just requires time and effort. If you're willing to put that in then you could run with the format already shown in the previous posts (you linked it above - https://sml-europe.forumotion.com/f19-awards-voting) and maybe send a draft to the committee? See what they think.

Once it's setup and good to go then slap it on the forums and let the people vote! Can't imagine anyone telling you that you can't do it - anything content-based has always seemed to be welcomed on here.

Cool. Right I'll give it a little try over the weekend and see how it looks. I'll try and it get it set so its ready to post up following end of season

no teams with a V,
no previous winners,  
and no players over 5'11''.
