Sorry guys but i have another question.

I have guys on my roster whos contracts have expired that i don't want to re sign but XFN wont allow me to cut them because it would put me below the minimum at the position. So if i just leave them unsigned will they automatically get released once we move past re signings?

You will have to sign a bum in FA (cheapest player possible at that position) and then release the guy once FA has ended.

So if i understand what you're saying, once we advance past the re-signing period into FA, the players i haven't re-signed with expired contracts will still be on my roster and once i sign someone else at the position i can cut them? Or do i need to re-sign them BEFORE FA begins and then cut them once i sign someone else?

Brza will have to confirm this but basically i think they will not be auto cut if there is not the required number of players at a certain position.

So, you need to re-sign them yourself rather than let the cpu do it - bear in mind you want to avoid a bonus as this will be the cap penalty once you cut them. Sign them for 1 year WITHOUT a bonus and then cut'em once you acquire another player at the relevant position.

If you don't have enough players at a position they cannot be dropped at all whether they have a contract or not. When FA bidding starts just bid on a player at the same position so that you can drop the other one after bidding closes.
