Game speed

i just played third user game. and the speed is still unbelieveable slow. am i the only one who thinks about it like that?

i had just one human2human game and the speed was to slow too. But was it slow or was it a hole game lag ... i cant say it but if i remeber right ... brza will change the game speed after week 3 or 4??? for testing

the problem is that is a Madden 13 bug. we have against CPU a fster game speed than against HUM-Players.

I agree, this is a difficult one, that isn't helped by the inconsistency of EA.

Slow game speed seems perfect against CPU, but the majority of games played hum v hum at this speed are just too slow. For me, I've had one game where it was acceptable.

Normal speed vs CPU plays stupidly fast, but it has been my experience that most of the hum v hum games play fine.

Whatever the cause, we have a definite change in gaming experience from CPU games to hum v hum games. Personally I suspect it has something to do with the graphics coding not coping well over the network. (but who knows).

As mentioned earlier, Brza will up the speed to normal so we can "test" this for a couple of weeks and then decide what game speed to settle on. I guess continuous feedback on the forum is key!

Yeah I noticed the game was much slower too when we played Afro. I will set the speed to normal when we advance to week 4 so we can test that out for two weeks and make a decision afterwards.

From my experience of one user game in CC I'd say it is more of a constant lag than a game speed problem but trying normal can't hurt.

I can't wait until Madden 13 comes out of beta testing, once it does I might actually want to play it.

When are we going back to slow speed? As normal speed is way to fast with the speed threashold slider set as it is + The game play isn't very sim style its more arcade.

Scouse, you are right about the speed being too fast.

Now the patch is in i know Brza wants to reduce the game speed so its more sim. I think that will happen right away.

Yeah as Bish said we will change back to slow speed after the advance to see if the patch has improved the game speed in user-user games. We will also be going back to 8 minute quarters with 20 second accelerated clock since they have reportedly fixed that in the patch.

was the game speed changed? in my play today it was really slow in my opinion ... it was slower as in practice

game speed is fine for me.

Been fine for me too, I think if there is a slow connection involved then from what I experienced last season the gameplay runs in slow motion to an unplayable level. When there is no lag though it is perfect IMO.

Game speed is the same as before. No settings were changed.
