Draft Day Trades

Hey,

as I have not been part of a live draft here, I have a question how it will work. Maybe I'm just thinking too complicated, then it will be an easy answer.

Are draft day trades possible? Or realistic?

I imagine the following situation:
My pick is No. 15, now No. 10 is on the clock and there is a player I really like and I want to trade up. Now in just 2 minutes I have to contact the other owner, talk about compensation and quite likely will never get it done within 2 minutes.

Or is the only option to trade in advance, maybe with certain prerequisites - e.g. finish the trade, but it will only be done if one certain player is available?

Just trying to think about my draft board. And everybody knows - it's never too early to talk about the draft

You can do a trade in advance. You can say we make a trade but only when a specific player is still available. But please make sure you are only allowed a special number of trades per season. I think 4

You can try to trade during draft but not easy as you've said..
Your other option is easier, speak to the guys in front of you , agree a trade with the stipulation that the player you want is available.... you also need to post in trade section for the committee to agree the trade.

You don't have to reveal the player you want in the draft but all the other trade information  such as picks or players from existing rosters needs to be known...
Check out the trade section for the trade value chart and look at other trades that were accepted or declined.
