Madden 13 Demo

Hi guys anyone know when the demo comes out to Madden 13
Which teams will then be playable?

Would prosume it would be pats v giants

I would guess not for at least another month, the game lauches the end of August so I'd bet on 2-3 weeks before launch.

just incase anyone isn't aware, the demo is out tomorrow (Tuesday 14th) on the US store. It features Giants @ Niners and Seahawks @ Redskins

God dammit Sony would you update the store already! Has the store been updated for anyone else yet?

Yea it's on the US store today, that's where I was looking. It is out today but the store hasn't updated yet. It's only 2pm EST so it might not be until late tonight our time. I've no idea when it'll be on the EU store if at all, don't care either lol. Just hurry up Sony!

Well it's good, really good. Very similar to NCAA which is definitely a good thing. Graphics are very good with some good player likenesses, Phil Sims and Jim Nantz provide by far the best Madden commentary ever, the presentation is slick and all in all it's very positive.

Couple of negatives I noticed, after a play the new impact engine has a tendency to leave players on the ground in a rather precarious pile, I saw more than a few broken looking arms lol. Players still skate although not quite as bad and overall the game speed still seems too fast, even after setting it to slow like I always do.

A couple of personal dislikes too, the play art style has changed and I think it's pretty damn ugly compared to the old style, there is a lot less detail in it it seems. Also I think players seem to break tackles far to regularly. Frank Gore broke 3 tackles in a row on one run and a receiver also broke 3 tackles which was pretty unrealistic.

Other than those minor things It is by far the best Madden ever. Can't wait to get stuck in.

i love it, played a few games there 2night... i like it more than ncaa cus the 'users' in ncaa is irrelevant... u can control the middle of the field with patick willis in this switching from reciever to reciever, whereas in ncaa its really bad for 'users'... if u are controlling the MLB u cant guard the field like in madden...

i agree with the broken tackles, gore destroyed me a few times, but then again its only a demo.. i remember last year the qb sneak u cud get 5-6 yards on every play if u didn't pinch the line, and that was fixed in time for the release of the official game..

imo it looks like it could be best madden yet, hope the minor flaws are fixed for the release date..

I Played the Demo too ... But i couldnt Hot Route my Players (madden12: x in the Defense and Triangel for offense). How can I hot Route my Players in m13?

How could you Download it? Maybe the German ps store is a Wohle different Animal, but I cant find NCAA 13 or Madden 13 Demo on there

Ryan - hot routes are the same as 12. Triangle then the receiver button then the route. If you press R3 at the line of scrimmage you get a screen that tells you all pre snap controls.

Flo - Both demos are on the USA store at the moment, not sure when Europe gets it. Just create a new user on your ps3 and set up an American psn account.

not that impressed by the demo as it almost playes the same like last season.
running seems easier.
defense is a lil bit better.

love my 90 speed DE lol

passing game seems a lil bit better to.
i can lead my receivers better.
russel wilson seems to be really good lol.

kick and punt return seems easier then before.

waiting on first user games to get a real idea on what difficulty is best.
all pro is a joke and all madden is challenging but very unrealistic.

when matt flynn breaks 2 tackles in the backfield then dive and throw underhand while the ball is being catched 1 handed and goes for a good gain you know some controllers might not make it to the end of a game

I found the problem ... under game options you must activate the "strategy pad quick links"

How are you guys enjoying the demo?

I think the 'normal' game speed is way too fast, I enjoy it much more on the slow setting.
RG3 is awesome, whoever is the 'Skins is going to have some fun playing with him.

I'm having a bit of trouble with the passing game, hopefully I can get that ironed out soon

Personally I think slow is still too fast and after my initial play I have come to the opinion that I prefer the gameplay of NCAA. I'm sure i'll adjust though once I have the game.

I can't stop throwing picks for the life of me! I was using Alex Smith though I guess

I find that screen pass to your RB and WR + throwing on the run works now.

Yeah the screen pass in M13 is much better than M12 in opinion, I couldn't run successful screens very often

why cant i find the demo?

Its only on the US store Ryso ... you have to create a US account mate.
