Pre-season and Depth Charts - XP abuse

If I am genuinely trying to find out who will start it's fine though right? Like for me I need to decide on a RE and DT

In the pre-season week 1 normally the starters play 1-2 drives, then all back-ups get playing time. Effectively so your 2nd and 3rd stringers will get on the field.

Generally, it's pretty obvious when 'starters' are on the field too much - and rookies who are likely to start (it's easily determined). 

So, just let it play out and generally stick to your genuine depth chart - if you want an extended look at your RE or DT thats fine, it all shows up in the snap count anyway. But as a general rule all 2nd's and 3rd's get a good run-out anyway. We don't want to handcuff guys in your situation, just be sim and don't overdo  the 'extra' time.

Just don't overdo it - i.e. an obvious starting rook playing 90% of any pre-season game will get you a ban.

Remember, the aim is to stop XP abuse - not to stop HC's genuinely checking out their new toys.
