That's what I did in the end, playing away with no issues but haven't tried an online game yet.

I keep throwing to routes that should be totally open and the cpu defense is making some serious plays lol.

Also - playing the D-Line and butchering hb/qb's - love it. The injury bug seems gone also, I broke 3 broncos QBs and their kicker started throwing for them.

And injured people actually hold their injured part, nice little touch

The interceptions seem way too frequent, passes never hit the floor! Or maybe I just suck lol. 

I'm not overly keen on the new play calling screen but I guess I'll get used to it, its just different as opposed to bad. I also don't like the running, it has reverted to a more light, arcadey/twitchy type feel whereas I really like the weightier feel to madden 25. All in all though it's good, I'm really liking it.

If only I didn't have to look at the Seagulls on the title screen...

On the road for work today but I brought my PS4 with me to play in the hotel. Had to work late anyway and now that I finally got a chance to turn on the PS4 I find out the hotel TV is completely locked down. I can't change the source to HDMI and if I take out all the cables from this hotel TV box the TV won't even turn on.
Just my luck. Guess I'll have to wait a bit longer before I can play.

Such dedication deserves better luck lol. I think most hotels lockdown tv inputs these days although I've no idea why.

Hows everyone finding it? Its early days and I've only played CPU (all-pro), but I feel a little better at it than 25 for some reason. I've not thrown that many ints so far, although I did somehow get sucked into MUT so playing crap AI players as my team is only rated at 60.

I played a bit of connected franchise, I'll have to read up on the best way to spend the time between games but it looks cool. I worked on my defence's tackling which was much more enjoyable (and more involved) than 25's training to win 2000xp for all your players. But, I only had enough time to work on a Linebacker and a QB?

Last thing I did before knocking it on the head last night was playing the Gauntlet mini game, which was a lot of fun. It takes some of the trials from the skills trainer then puts in levels 'boss level' every 5 levels, the first was a 100yd field goal 220 mph winds 

I started an offline connected franchise with my Vikings, I played the first preseason game, simmed to regular season and I've just lost to the bills to put me at 4-3 after a 4-0 start to the season. Playing on All-Pro difficulty for the first season, will change to custom sliders I reckon in a week or so.

What I've noticed so far is that running the ball is much, much more difficult. Even with AP! (And that includes bringing in Evan Mathis onto the OL via trade) It is also more difficult than in the past to stop the run - not for big gains but it just seems that most runs go 3-6/7 yards.

CPU accuracy is also off the charts, Stafford went something ridiculous like 16/17 completion rate in a narrow loss with no interceptions and a touchdown.

I don't really like the new graphic that pops up when punting to show the direction, I was a coffin corner master in previous iterations but now everyone will be much better at it, oh well!

Back to Int-city last night. I think I must've had beginners luck before. Pulled out a big week-1 win against the Pats but then was getting hammered by the Bills week two. Watch out for crazy cuts if you advance through the pre-season. The CPU cut Jarvis Landry, this years second round pick.

Played a bit more MUT, and even went online with my team. Beat an American guy 20-7 despite barely having any offense. He threw 3 pick-6's, and quit out after the last one. The barrage of expletives aimed at me was something to behold.

Anyone else struggling to buy packs on MUT? Its not letting me buy the green point things, I'm wondering if its because I bought it from the US store?
