NFL Draft Last Night

Well, was anyone surprised the Bears traded half the world for Mitch Trubisky just one slot up? Anyone would be stupid to think Chicago didn't know the ramifications of this manouvre. Just remains to see if he becomes the next Brady or Brady bunch.

I guess Warrior will be throwing deep next Madden ........... or........ i'd like to take this opportunity to offer a 1st round pick for Mr Ross.

2 3rds and a 4th to move up one spot and take a guy with 13 career starts for a mediocre team instead of just keeping the picks and taking Deshaun Watson who proved he can put a team on his back is pretty questionable imo.Whats even crazier is that the Bears didn't bring him in for a personal interview or even meet with him after the combine. Thats unheard of for a QB drafted that high.

Warrior is the big winner for Madden 18. 99 SPD 99 ACC and good hands and route running. Just bump up his INJ rating and he can dump AJ Green.

Titans stole two of my favorites in the draft. Davis was the best WR, although Ross will be better in Madden. Jackson is a playmaker at CB.

Raiders got lucky that Conley fell. May be the best CB in the draft next year. Although a healthy Sydney Jones will probably be the best in a couple years.

Eagles' pick Barnett is solid, although I would have preferred OJ Howard or a trade back since Barnett isn't that athletic. But you can't deny he had the most production against the best competition in CFB. Should be a very nice DL for M18 with Barnett, Cox, Jernigan and Graham.

Brza - I'd have thought OJ Howard would be better, LT's Titans always stealing other teams players lol. Warrior should be banned from M18 with Mr 4.22. That's as ridiculous as a team being given an unstoppable O line and RB. Ooh, hang on a minute .........

The thing that shocks me most about Trubisky is John Fox and GM Ryan Pace have had 2 horrible seasons, admittedly with horrible injuries (remember Kyle Fuller, Kevin White lol) and are trying to keep their jobs, so, by taking Mitch (or any of the Qb's here) that says they are not serious about winning this coming season as Glennon will start, they are building. But they give up 3 picks.

You're right Brza, we out-browned the Browns. It's like the movie Draft Day - but without the fairytale ending ...........

The Bears gave up all those picks for a QB that went 8-5 as a starter, don't get that move at all,  not to mention all that wasted money on Glennon .

Ha, me and @paraAUT were thinking of switching the Raiders and Browns for M18 (he is a raiders fan but the division was empty back then).

Looks like I wont really have a QB...

Really hard, I really like the Browns Picks. No QB in my opinion is worth a pick, so the other picks were great.

@ParaAUT Pat Mahomes is the only real madden beast, he'll have mobility and a cannon, upgrade the accuracy later.

Warrior, you are starting to get on my nerves. Why did you pick Mixon, to go along with Ross?

I think it's unfair, the NFL Bengals should have been allowed to pick their own players and not Madden HOF's..................

We got 3 first round players in 3 rounds, can't grumble...
Mixon had the highest rated grade out of all the HB's but obviously has to behave like he has since the incident and don't hang around with pacman. 
It's going to be very interesting watching all these guys play, I've never seen so many high grades given to so many teams after day 2.... most talented crop of players for a long time?

In terms of pure football player I think HB Dalvin Cook was the steal of the 2nd round for the vikings. However in terms of Maddenbowl it was probably the worst...

Why do you say that Geo,  he's a very different back to Murray or did you want someone else with the pick?

@warrior9674 I mean in the fact, apart from the 40, his combine numbers were a bit low. So he'll be a great back I think but if his Madden acceleration and agility are low, he'll be slightly harder to use, than say the battering ram Fournette, scatback McCaffrey or Joe Mixon. Saying that, I'm sure @MeisterEder69 will be fine using him haha

Yeah got you, guys with so so combine numbers need great pre seasons to push there attributes up before our madden league kicks off.

That's always the problem. Most of the rookies look completely different in Madden in November than in September.

When do you guys normally start the new franchise league?

I'd guess it averages out between NFL pre season week 3 or 4 but we normally wait for a major update as the game normally needs one.
