How will the draft work??

I know it only from franchises without the league-manager. Its possible that the CPU drops Players from your roster. Without League.Manager i could pick them again from the Free Agency. How will it work with LM.

How many Players is the maximum before the draft.

Unfortunately the draft console for League Manager isn't available yet. So we'll have to draft on PS3. The CPU won't automatically drop players from your roster this year though because the rosters are large enough to accomodate the extra players you get from the draft. In addition to that though most teams will lose free agents before the draft unless you resigned all your players already.

I have advanced to the offseason so everyone can check which players have retired, the current ratings for your players and also look at the ratings of the rookies and set your draft boards. This can only be done on PS3 right now. I suggest setting up your draft board on PS3 because with the amount of CPU teams that we have it can be difficult to follow who was picked. Each user team will have 60 seconds to make his pick for the first 3 rounds. For the 4th to 7th round I'll lower the time to 30 seconds to speed things up.

I also suggest that everyone logs into the chat here so that if there are any problems you can notify me immediately so that I can pause the draft. If anyone wants to do a draft day trade the chat is probably the best way to try.

Also all teams that traded a draft pick MUST be logged into the chat because they will have to make the traded pick for the other team. When the pick comes up then the team who should have the pick should post who they want in the chat. Then the team who traded the pick will have to make the pick on PS3. Afterwards I will put the player on the right team in LM.

I will also allow everyone to have one last chance to resign their contract year players in LM now before I advance the year sunday at 1:45pm GMT before the draft. If you don't know where you can do that there is a tab under "Front Office" on LM called "Contract Year Players".

After the draft Free Agency bidding will be unlocked. The bidding period will close Monday at 8pm GMT. After FA bidding closes everyone will have till Tuesday 8pm GMT at the latest to get their roster to the roster requirements of 50-55 players. If you get your roster done earlier and want to play then just PM me so I can ok your roster.

You can also view the draft class in LM now complete with scouting report if you click on the individual players. Its still not possible to actually draft through LM but who knows maybe we'll get lucky and that part will be available tomorrow.

Did you do auto assign rookie contracts through LM or did you manually do it?
