Dunno if you two know about EA's online dynasty site. But on there there's a couple of useful things IMO. I have mine set up to send me e-mails when the week advances and when human matches are played. Obviously useful if you have a smartphone.

You can also recruit from the web interface which is much improved this year.

Just had a play in practice after I finished recruiting and damn it's hard, really hard! I think the only job offer I'll have after year one will be the janitor! My guys had hands of stone. Good job I like a challenge

Oh, and if the sliders turn out to be too difficult I can easily reduce them. However, bear in mind that the schools we are controlling are in the bottom tier of Div. 1 NCAA schools, so missed and dropped passes are quite normal.

One think that might help Notey, have you discovered the "adjustments" on the playcall screen? (press L1 at the playcall screen). There you can set things to conservative or aggressive. With lower ranked school I generally put catching onto conservative to give myself every help with WR catching.

Just focus on passing your contract goals to try and get a job offer at the bigger schools.

Yea the schedule is a beauty, I knew it would be tough though. Like you said before, I just need to reach my goals and not worry to much about winning games although that would help.

I haven't discovered this at all no. So you can set different parts of your game to aggressive or conservative? What would conservative actually mean in regards to catching? I'm guessing a greater chance of making a routine catch but less chance on the tougher catches? I'm gonna load the game up shortly so I will check this out, thanks.

Oh Daz, I have a question about the Dynasty browser site. At the top of the screen next to your team name/week no. there is a download button, what is that for? When do I need to use it because it seems as though it's maybe a syncing service but so far everything syncs automatically.

It explains what the aggressive and conservative option does for each aspect of the game when you're in the "L1" menu that selects it.

I'm currently liking having "holding blocks" on aggressive too, it increases the number of holding calls to like 3 or 4 per game. But I like the longer blocks on run plays, particularly against better opposition.

I got no idea about the download thing. My guess is that it would download the dynast info to a printable file. I could easilly be wrong though. Syncing has always been automatic though

Right, I advanced to Week 2 so we can start playing games.

I think the advance rules I'll go with are s follows:
- once 2 out of 3 of us have played, the 3rd person has 24 hours or so to play their game.

This should give everyone at least 2 days to play each week, which should be ok as the games only take 30mins when you're a co-ordinator

Please note anything up here you think is too hard or too easy. Give the sliders a good 4+ games to get a good idea of the balance of the game. Then comment up. Cheers
