I'm the Kentucky Wildcats, welcome to the board.

On a side note, after I got absolutely stuffed running the ball this week I checked out everyone else's run avg and all you guys manage to get 5+ yards a carry so I guess I don't have a case for making it a little easier lol! My avg for my starter is 3.3 but that is with what was I think a 80 something yard run, without that lord knows what it would be. I find I get lots of holding calls if I set the offensive line blocking to aggressive so I leave it at normal. What do you guys do or have found that works running the ball?

With all that said I have played Florida, SC, Mississippi state and Arkansas so maybe it's a wash taking into account my competition. No regrets though, I'm loving getting into shoot outs with these teams. I should've beaten Arkansas too, I was gutted afterwards, I threw 2 picks inside the last 2 mins.

I think for a 5 person league we need to advance faster, ideally in my opinion every 2 days, 3 tops. That's just me though, how does everyone else feel? I think every 4 days is too long and I would start to lose interest only playing 2 games a week.

I have tried it briefly and it was pretty much the same as a game but i'll try again when I play next.

I concur. How's about 2 days when it's just Human v CPU matches....and 3 days when there's a Human v Human match?

Yea that sounds good to me, 3 days should be enough time for human v human games. Lets go with that and see how it goes.

Playing Vandy last night I had no problem running the football so my struggles are purely down to superior opposition which is fine with me so I have no problem with the sliders now. Im loving this dynasty, every week is a treat lol.

Glad that it's a good challenge Nitey. I'll review everyone's stats post-season and see if anything needs changing. We might have to make everything a touch harder, just cos we're all getting used to the game now and know the types of plays that work.

In my oppinion the defense/d-line overun my o-line to often. I just got the ball and couldnt threw away because 3 or 4 defense-players sacked me. the pass rushers are to fast in my oppinion.

and the d-players in the backfield can win a long jump gold medal ... they catch balls from open recievers thats unbelieveable

But this is my oppinion ... i didnt play the defense very often ... becaus im offense coordinator

Well I am about to set a new ncaa receiving record lol. Reason being running in the SEC is virtually impossible and my receiver is a beast! But next season I will strive for balance although that'll be tough. I certainly wouldn't make running harder though.

It is the same for me ryan but it's because you're players aren't very good. My division is really strong and running is virtually impossible against the tougher opposition but when I played a weaker team it was far easier. I like it because you really need to plan your plays instead of just calling deep throws etc all the time.

Yeh, I doubt rushing will change, and obviously when we become HC's eventually we'll have to see how the defense plays.

Yea that'll be interesting, I have played virtually no defense in this game so far, both my dynasties are OC and my RTG and Heisman are offense too.

I'm hoping my head coach gets fired and I take over this off season although I know that's not gonna happen.

Probs gna be 2 or 3 seasons before we get any "decent" HC offers

Have you ever known a promotion from co-ordinator to head coach with the same team? I found in my offline dynasty that even though I carried the team as OC the head coach got all the credit because of the W-L record.

Are we on for an advance tonight, can't remember when the last one was?

Yes it's possible to become HC on the same team. Normally happens when your HC gets a better job or retires.

I'll advance tomorrow morning before I go off to Dublin.

Hmm interesting, I never considered the head coach getting a better job. Should make for an interesting 2nd season, now if only some guys would finally commit to UK I would be set lol.

Hey Daz how was the weekend? The game was live on ESPN so I watched most of the first half but by then it was already pretty much over, atmosphere looked great though.

I've been trying to get on the Dynasty website but can't get in so I guess it is down for maintenance. Have we advanced yet? Don't worry if not cos obviously you've been away.

Yep, Dublin was amazing! Sooo many Guinness', apparently me and my mates were on CBS coverage cos we were body painted in green and gold with "IRISH" painted on us. Lol.

I got a minor issue with the dynasty atm, in that my router appears to be fucked. So can't get online to advance. I'm hoping the engineer that's coming over tonight should be able to fix it.
