Game Prep...
Ok guys, will someone please explain this to me because from what I can see, it is only possible to do game prep with 2 or 3 players a week to gain exp or confidence. Am I wrong? Is developing backup players essentially dead now?
On paper it sounded awesome, "do you go for short term improvement with confidence or long term with exp..." whereas in reality it seems to be "which 2 players do you want to improve..." and I don't like it one bit. I love grooming backups into starters so I'm praying that I am missing something and one of you is going to tell me I can still gain weekly exp for EVERYONE...

They are at the top-right, OSS. They are the in-game drills.

Re: Game Prep...
Yeah you basically only have enough time to do drills with 2 players or automatic training for 4 players. Here's a video showing game prep at about the 3 minute mark:

Re: Game Prep...
So it is like I thought. I like the idea of actually running drills to gain exp, that makes tons of sense but only being able to do a few is silly if you ask me. I guess we'll just see how it plays out.
OSS, inside the game prep screen there are 4 main boxes, you want the top right one to manually run drills although you can have the cpu just actually give exp in another of the boxes if you dont want to actually practice yourself.

Re: Game Prep...
I've noticed that one of the CPU XP options is for the whole team. It gives a tiny amount of XP to the squad but it only uses 1 hour per player. I'm yet to look at how much upgrades cost this year for the players, but this thing was giving out like 25-30 XP per person.
I used it to use up my couple of leftover hours after an in game drill.

Are you guaranteed more XP with the in-game drills?

Re: Game Prep...
The amount it says it gives is generally around double from what I've noticed. I'm guessing the range it offers it for the different dev traits. It also takes up more hours.
That said, I failed my game prep today and my QB got less xp than my SS on auto xp, so it can be seen as a little bit of a gamble
