You sure it wasn't lag? Everybody here has said they prefer slow game speed and it was also the default for online games and franchises the past two Maddens. We used which we had to use in the franchise last year. Sorry, but no way we're moving the speed up.

The gameplay is perfect for me, anything faster than slow plays like the players are all on speed!

I kinda have to agree with Meister a bit. I play my offline games on slow and it's fine.

Just played about 2 mins of a pre-season game in here and it was EXTREMELY slow.

EDIT: Also accelerated clock doesn't seem to work.

yes the acc clock seems broken.

did the threshold get lowerd cause if not then slow will be really slow lol.

then again i dont have much experience with all pro so maybe thats why it slower then we are used to ??

im pretty sure it wasnt lag, but we´ll see. if u play a normal online game the speed is double as high. i know that way plaeyed the same game speed last year, but only the word is the same. if it is really that slow we aint simulating the nfl anymore - this was chess in colours. pastinator also said that it was way too slow. football is a fast game - we´re not playing golf . after my first online games i was really excited but now.....

Well I am still waiting to play my first pre season game but the speed was fine in CC practice. Maybe it is a bug?

I second what Eder said our game was unplayable i think we will have a better idea once afew more have playd their pre season games and how their speed is - it could have just been a one off.

The CC speed is the same as in the community too. Nobody mentioned that the community games were too slow but knowing EA I guess it is possible that even speed is different in different game modes. The speed threshold is at 35 in both the community and CC too. We'll have to see what others say to the speed in user CC games. I've also played a bunch of games vs. CPU in CC on slow and it plays exactly the same as versus a human user in Community. But considering the fact that acc clock works vs. CPU but not vs. users means speed could be different too.

I'll set the quarters to 6 mins too and get rid of the acc clock since it doesn't work in user games.

Has anyone else noticed that when looking at a players "player card" under contract/skills some guys for example will say 2 years remaining on contract, then on the next column shows how much they are due to make in those 2 years. But the years showing are 2010, 2011, so is that what they ARE making or WERE making?

Yea it is possible.

Another issue I have is quiting the game to go back to the XMB, the game never quits and my playstation does the triple beep thing. I then have to wait when it starts back up for the system files to be checked. No other game does this and I have a newish Slim so its not my ps3.

Same for me. Annoying as hell. EA should have released this edition under Madden 13 Beta!

I'm really glad it's not just me! I'll do the same next time, just try turning system off instead of quit game. If my system files get corrupted then EA are getting the bill!

Just played Eder in a community game and it was ridiculously slow for me, however Eder found that the game speed was fine for him....

This also happened to me when I played Eder in M12. I haven't played any other community games yet in SML. Maybe I should to test it out....

Played Bobo in preseason game 1 and the match lasted just over 1 1/2 hours.

Since accelerated clock isn't working in user-user games I turned it off and set it to 6 minute quarters. We'll keep looking at game speed to see what the problem is there.
